Border Patrol agent in trouble ping...
Looks like another anti-American BP persecution by pro-illegals.
Here we go again
BP PING!
This case is so big the president of Mexico has taken an interest. The Mexican Consulate has received direct orders from President Felipe Calderon to keep an eye on developments in this case.WE MUST DO WHATEVER MEXICO'S PRESIDENT SAYS.Cochise County prosecutors say they couldn't ignore the evidence...
It was three in the afternoon on January 12 when investigators say agent Nicholas Corbett shot 22 year old Francisco Dominguez-Rivera. They say Dominguez-Rivera had just crossed the border on foot with his two brothers and sister-in-law.
Dominguez-Rivera's relatives say agent Corbett drove off the road to follow them and circled them. According to court documents "While the agent was driving he was pointing his gun through the passenger side window at them."
At that point, the relatives say they stopped agent Corbett got out of his SUV and forced them to the ground. Although you can't see it here, investigators say this is surveillance video of the incident.
Dominguez-Rivera was killed shortly afterward. His relatives say the agent either hit him on the back of the neck or grabbed his neck and that's when the gun went off.
Agent Corbett has never spoken to investigators but told his superiors he saw "A male subject had a rock in his hand and that he felt threatened. He goes on to say that he had his weapon drawn and was holding it down with the muzzle pointed toward the ground in front of him and that the subject made a motion to throw the rock at corbett that's when he fired one shot from his service weapon."
The Cochise County medical examiner says Dominguez-Rivera was shot in the chest at close range possibly between 3 inches and 2½ feet.
Cochise County attorney Ed Rheinheimer says this was a hard decision but they couldn't ignore the evidence. He says it shows dominguez-rivera did not pose a threat to agent Corbett so therefore the shooting was not justified.
If you want on or off the NM Ping list, please FReepmail me.
Thanks for the extra research, Nic!
This article I posted today seems pretty straightforward, but all the previous articles in this same paper condemned and crucified the agent instantly. Of course the paper took the bleeding heart side of the criminals and printed endless comments about what ‘noble’ people the criminals are.
The Cochise County medical examiner says Dominguez-Rivera was shot in the chest at close range possibly between 3 inches and 2½ feet.
Cochise County better get a new ME.
There's s HUGH difference in the 'stippling' from a gunshot wound at 3" and 2.5 feet (get Gil Grisom NOW /s).
Since when is killing a member of an invading force MURDER?
I would say so. How can the ME not determine a more exact range. The damage would be much different between the two distances.
If a Gil is all they need to improve their detailed detective work, I'll volunteer MY services; I'm an expert in details!! : )
But of course; the media is complicit with the ongoing invasion!!!!!!!
And the Mexican Consulate matters why? This is AMERICA! RULE OF LAW!
>>Nicholas Corbett, 39, was charged April 23 with four counts of homicide”<<
Cqan anyone explain the “four counts of homicide”?
The liberals could read his mind and figured he was going to murder the other three invaders?
/not funny, I know...
We’re all familiar with our Bill of Rights....
I propose the following
INVADER BILL OF RIGHTS
Exactly.
I did a quick Google search before I posted and found the FBI Forensics page. They have pictures showing the stippling difference between 1" and 4" distance gunshot wounds. (along with other gunshot characteristic differences)
So if this guy can't tell if its 3" or 30" he should find a new a line of work.
I agree.
Of course, the Prosecution may need that wiggle room.....and, the ME, was obliged to help him out.
You see, the agenda is to prosecute any and all Border Patrolmen that are doing their jobs.
Yes, it is.
Bill
