I believe the owner of the bakery ran for mayor against Jerry Brown... I’m not sure, but I do remember something about it...
The founder of this group ran for mayor. He also had rape charges pending when he died of cancer in 2003. His son was shot in broad daylight at a gas station before he died. His other son (I believe) is one of those arrested for smashing the booze bottles in the deli (which was all caught on tape).
On the news yesterday, most neighbors said they were intimidated by the group and were glad the police raided the place.
