Actually, it wasn't skinheads. It was a neo-nazi group called "The Order", headed by a guy named Robert Matthews. But, your point still holds.

I remember Alan Berg quite well. He was on TV and radio, and had a dog who looked just like him. He was murdered outside of his house; the killer used an automatic or select-fire MAC-10 as I recall.
