The last “energy bill” was such a money wasting fiasco. I know of one company that raked in $30 million in tax credits for spraying residual oil on coal and calling it a “new fuel.”

If you are talking about the 2005 Energy Bill and/or the American Jobs Creation Act, a lot of good came out of them also. Being the government, by law a percentage of money has to be wasted on the oddest things. :)
