I was reading a book recently about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge.

One of the more interesting factoids was that in the first half of the 19th century about one in four of the bridges built in the US fell down.

Well, exactly. Where would we be without the Democratic Party whining and crying all the time WHILE NEVER ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I would like an HONEST and COMPLETE assessment where all of our tax money goes. It should be a published summary document supplied to all tax payers much like a stock holder receives from a company. There is no accountability because there is no visibility. The sad thing is that many STATE government officials probably have no clue where half of the tax money goes right now.

That’s not True ! Sometimes disasters happen when Dems are in power, but the CAUSE was due to Republican failures in the past. This is why it is so critical that Dems invented the art of revisionist history and control the public education system.

I just watched a show on the History Channel or Discovery Channel about bridge disasters. And then a few days later, this one collapses in Minnesota. There was a guy on that show who said how many bridges in the U.S. needed fixing and then he said that when one fails, he won’t be surprised because he and his agency have been telling people for years. He was pretty disturbed by the fact that he had all of that information in his head, nobody was doing anything about it, and soon, people would be dead because a bridge was going to fail. And then it did.
