Sorry, don’t know the answer but I am think somebody on the list might know.
Can somebody shed some light on Stonewall Jackson’s question: “I have found plenty of lists of the generals who were killed in the war, but do you know of a list of the brigade commanders who were still Colonels when they were killed? I know that there were three or four who were killed at Gettysburg, so it is probable that there were others over the course of the war.”
