Video: O’Reilly tangles with Sen. Dodd; Dennis Miller rips Dodd limb from limb

O’Reilly really couldn’t have stacked these two Factor segments any better. First he has Sen. Chris Dodd on to talk about the DailyKos and the YearlyKos and that Photoshop he keeps showing that came from Kos. If you haven’t seen it, you’ll see it in this segment, don’t worry. Once he and Dodd go a few rounds shouting at each other, O’Reilly brings Dennis Miller on to deliver the coup de grace. Or, several of them.

Since neither segment works as well alone, I’ve given you the entire Dodd segment and the choice cuts from Miller Time.

I must say I was encouraged to know that Sen. Dodd will go to the mat for formums like FR. I even think he would vigorously defend talk radio. I mean, he was so adamant that it's a wonderful thing for people of like mind to be able to gather and share ideas.

I don't watch O'Reilly because I haven't been able to stand looking at him since his treatment of the SwiftBoat vets.

After watching the video, I must say Dodd kicked O'Really's you-know-what to tomorrow and back. I have to give it to the Democrats. No matter how heinous the cause, they stick together. A pity there isn't any Republican politician willing to stand up for anything, even when the cause is just.

I can't stand Dennis Miller either. He bugs me almost as much as O'Reilly. He wasn't nearly as hard as he should have been on O'Reilly in the video, but maybe the reason he didn't tell O'Reilly Dodd made a fool of him is because he wants to appear on O'Reilly's program again.

Miller is kissin’ up to BOR because he has to, but imho, Dennis Miller is 10 times smarter than BOR and always has been. It’s actually funny to watch. BOR is such a stupid, arrogant, sob and Miller is trying to keep a straight face (or at least keep himself from wretching) while he responds to BOR.

I sincerely hope Miller gets his own show and succeeds in the ratings this time. The problem is, he’s too bright for this bs.

I respect your assessment, but totally disagree. All of this reminds me of watching boxing matches (years ago). If you turned off all the fight commentary and let people decide for themselves who won or lost, the opinions were astoundingly diverse and incompatible. From where I sit, Dodd looked like an unsophisticated zealot who, as a US Senator, got into a shouting match on television. Pitiful and without dignity. He looked REALLY bad. But that’s just my view, from my viewing angle.
