There is a pretty good small movie called “Grace of My Heart” http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116442/ based on the career of singer/songwriter Carole King. One segment of the story has her writing a hit for a closeted pop singer played by Bridget Fonda. Fonda represents Lesley. Lesley btw also wrote and sang the number Fonda lipsyncs.
And I guess I shouldn’t mention Laura Nero to you guys.
