“Ah, thank you for the additional info. What I dont get is is it just that one meteorite that is regarded as Holy, or is it the whole black square that is given reverence?”
Neither, it’s the location. The physical structure is unimportant; it has in fact been torn down and rebuilt several times. If it were to be vaporised, they’d just rebuild it. The notion that Muslims somehow worship it, that it is an article of their faith that can be physically attacked, is incorrect.
Ah, I see. Thank you for the info.
You announce that the Attack will only be stopped if Allah stays the attack, then nuke the sites. You want to introduce cognitive dissonance. You set up a “baal vs the TRUE GOD” scenario...(ie. if Allah was so powerful why did he not stop the destruction of the Kaaba stone)
Japan finally surrendered when the emperor surrendered for the emperor himself was betrayed by his lack of Godlike powers (though many worshipped him as divine).
A simple nuke won’t do it, a multi-pronged attack on morale as well as physical infra-structure will do it.
Samson’s “sampson option” was to bring down the temple as well as the political rulers of the philistines of the era. By destroying the Dagon temple, you destroyed a population’s “raison d’etra” if you will which kept her people together. With Philistia devastated, she ceased to be a a problem for the Hebrews for a number of generations.
When the Israeli’s speak of a modern “Sampson Option”, they speak of no mere retaliation with nukes, but a retaliation designed to fracture and stress the cultures that are arrayed against them...to break their spirits as well as their infra-structures.
This is the type of retaliation needed should a nuke be set off in our land. I have no worries regarding “assigning responsibilities” to who ever did it to us...the terrorists and religion are linked, along with the sponsoring countries who are funding their “proxies”. Might as well start some-where and start yanking chains!
