Headless Chicken Roams Around Streets...Scaring Away People
According to local media, a headless chicken roamed around in Kunming, Yunnan, China, scaring away many people.
It showed up on Jul. 30. It roamed around on grass as if looking for food, bobbing its head.
The media reported that it was apparently able to hear because it turns around to the source of a sound whenever it hears one.
It not only scared people but also dogs. It weighed about 2 kg(4.4 lb), and managed to survive for hours, according to the local media.
There is a record that 'Mike the headless chicken' survived for a few years in Colorado, U.S.A., in 1940's.

Evidence of a chicken soul?
(No, not chicken soul food, a chicken soul.)
Or, did they somehow leave the brain stem intact, I wonder?

I thought this was a story about a chicken running around with its head cut off?

This is a description of our U.S. Senate under the non-headship of Harry (Pinky) Reid. The question is how long will it stay on its feed? Any bets?
To: TigerLikesRooster
As long as it isn't the tic-tac-toe playing chicken in Chinatown, NYC.

So is this chicken the Chinese cultural equivalent of Ichabod Crane?
