You may be a gun owner, but you are also, arguably, ignorant in two respects.

The point made was that part of the problems with encroachments on our freedoms are ‘busybodies, such as yourself, trying to push their feelings on what should be allowed.

i.e. You should not be allowed more than 3 cats.
You should not be allowed to park your RV in your own driveway
You should not be allowed to paint your house purple if you wanted
You should not own more than 2 guns (or even any)
ad nauseum.

and number two, snakes (especially the non-venomous) are neither filthy, dangerous, possesed, evil or any other low-brow epithet that has been thrown on them here. I have 5 and my kids enjoy them almost as much as I do.

If I followed your example I could say that people who are not snake owners should not be able to say anything regarding said ownership.

I used to live near Doral country club (west of Miami Airport). I remember my colleagues telling me that there was nothing worth visiting between the Falls Mall and Key Largo. After Andrew, that whole area became a no mans land, an odd mixture of Mexican strawberry pickers, leftover rednecks, and the oddball treehugger, the latter usually employed at Everglades National Park.

I don't know about now, but 5-10 years ago you experienced greater culture shock coming from going south of 114th Street then you did when crossing the Broward line. South Dade seemed like a strange place back then.

Your colleagues were absolutely correct.
That portion of Dade county was barren. I fished the canals for bass and shot tarpon. There was a civilian licensed electrician who worked at Homestead AFB with us (Sam -RIP) and I thought I knew what rednecks were from my times in Texas with the air force , this was indeed very different. He lived in an area called the red lands, affectionately we called it the bad lands. Citrus farmers, and I drank with Sam at the local watering hole. The area was actually off limits to military personnel but it’s too late to give me an article 15 now. The locals actually liked me because country music has it’s origins in Celtic Irish music, and having been raised in Ireland, my ‘brogue’ was strong. Otherwise not wise to accidentally drive through or get lost there if you were from up north.

Another culture shock was driving from Manhattan, 88th street in 1988 with John Hines, a Korean war veteran friend of my dads who was good enough to get me started with a doorman’s job (he was the super) to Hunts Point Produce Market in the Bronx to buy cheap Christmas trees.
I knew it was a different kind of place when we crossed the Willis Ave bridge and I was told “lock the doors and windows, and don’t look around or stare at anyone”

Hey it’s been nice, this thread has bottomed out and I wish there was time to keep it going but let’s stop and meet again somethread else, OK? I’m sure you’re a nice fella or fem-ella, whatever, so Bye now and take care.

Was the question “are snakes ... something something... slithery?” Then Yeah, they are, or not whichever sounds good.

The point was to show the irony in one who uses the name of a violent gangsta rapper as an online identity making a big point that those who choose herpetology as a past time and keep pit bulls as more closely associated with criminal behaviour.

Answer the question ace.

Well punkin, you cannot answer the question.

Maybe because it was a STUPID question!

The question was "How can a snake be unstable?"

Idiot, idiot question also.

If this python is not natural to the Everglades, and if they are unjustly released to the Everglades, and if they are found, then they are no different than stray dogs. Capture. Keep. Search for new owners with appropriate facilities.

If not found, then destroy the snakes. No different than other stray animals.

It is a valid question n00bie.

Now why don’t you grab a big bag of STFU and go back to the basement?

Albeit a STUPID one.

Now why don’t you grab a big bag of STFU and go back to the basement?

What, and miss all your nonsense? Nope, going to stay right here.

Exhibit your expertise in snakes and fully answer the question then explain why it is a stupid question n00bie.

Your parents can help.

If you cannot understand what I am asking you to do I will explain it to a 5 year old and have them type it in a fashion that might not continue to soar over your head.

Now answer the original question or STFU and quit making a bigger fool of yourself. If your next response is not a valid answer to the question then do not expect a response back from me.

Okay,

You were not man enough to answer my posts #153 or #168 so let me explain it to you.

Your question was "How can a snake be unstable?"

The answer to such a stupid question is - it is a WILD amimal. Pretty simple, even for you.

Funny you mention a five year old, because even my five year old grandson knows snakes are unstable and dangerous.

Okay, Napoleon I answered your stupid question. Please do not bother to respond to me. This is one 'granny' that doesn't need you huffing and puffing your little chest out.

Thank goodness most Texas men are not bloviating, hateful, cowards like you.

As for your STFU comments, you need your butt spanked and your mouth washed out with soap.

Wild animals are far from unstable. In fact they are very predictable. One could never survive in the wild without knowing this. Since you don't understand this simple fact then you best stick to the zoo.

Finally, you started in on me when I was questioning an ignorant post by someone else and you were far less than polite.

I am glad most Texas women don't wallow in their own ignorance as you have been but would keep their mouth shut until they do some research and then speak intelligently.
