I am immediately suspect of anyone who makes a claim with 'teaser' information and then offers a book for $24.99 to further explain their views. Someone that does research in the field and then publishes the information in a professional/scientific/medical journal with sources available for peer review is someone I take much more seriously than someone with a hand held out looking for my Visa or check.

I'm not saying that I don't respect this man or that I find his research doubtful, I don't know enough about him to formulate a strong opinion. I'm just cynical of authors pushing books under the guise of science. Maybe this guy is right on the money, maybe he isn't. I withhold judgment until I see peer review

He spent his time researching and gaining expertise, you are interested in his knowledge, and you think you shouldn’t pay ? Are you against informing people of a information source ?

Try going to your local doctor and seeing if he’ll give you a checkup for free.

Would you work for free, or do you too need to eat and put a roof over your head ?
