Ok, well that explains why it's a problem - but I don't really understand why they'd hold such a point of view.

Ok, well that explains why it's a problem - but I don't really understand why they'd hold such a point of view. I know some so-called ultra Orthodox and they're not like that. There's a group that is condemned by all the others, but their numbers aren't great.
The more Orthodox Jews vote Republican -- they're not Liberals and they don't favor abortion afterall.
