WASHINGTON (AFP) - There are no signs that a terror attack was behind the collapse of a bridge Wednesday in Minneapolis, Minnesota that sent cars and trucks tumbling into the Mississippi River, the Department of Homesland Security told AFP.
“There are no indications of a nexus to terrorism at this time. We continue to monitor the situation. State and local officials have the lead in rescue and response efforts,” Russ Knocke, a DHS spokesperson, told AFP.
Dunno if this has been reported yet, but y’all can let out a collective sigh of relief now.
