You did a yeoman's job with O'Reilly the other night - he can be a pitbull about issues, especially when he is trying to affirm his "NO SPIN" moniker. However, one way to keep the FR slate clean, and also to refute any accusations of "moonbatism" might be to keep a specific log of all offensive posts verbatim and to immediately suspend the accounts of said miscreant. Further review by a group of mods could determine whether the account should be permanently suspended or could be reinstated with a 'suspended sentence' status. As far as post #2's belief that "Most extreme posts are probably trolls anyway.", this can obviously be easily determined by their account start date and they can be banned permanently without prejudice.

The problem with that, is the O’Reillys of the world can easily take things out of context and make anybody look bad. All it takes is plucking a few sentences out of a lengthy post, and you can portray somebody in a negative light.
