Years ago when I was in Tijuana helping build an elementary schoolWere you a liberal? j/k
I've been throught Mexico well beyond the border towns. And I've witnessed anti-Americanism in every corner. There were exceptions of course but they were not "Mexicans" per se. The Tarahumara Indians for example, expressed no animosities towards Americans that I could tell, they just wanted to sell their wares.

I was somewhat of a liberal. Not now though. However, the reason I got involved with that school is I heard there story and it was compelling enough to get involved. I didn't get anti-American sentiments at all, but I believe you. As for the Indians, they may seem to want to just sell their wares, but there are a number of Communist activists like Subcommander Marcos working in the communities down there.
