You are so right! I’ve got a major kitchen renovation planned for the fall, and Sears will be a big part. I have used Home Depot before, but I called their “Customer Care” line yesterday to let them know I hoped they would continue to advertise in FNC. This was in regard to the attempted boycott by Kos and MoveOn.org and when I told the woman HD rep that I was a fan of FNC, she hung up on me. So, I sent an e-mail and told HD that we are now officially over.

Sears supports our troops and they’ve always been reliable.
Besides, I am sick unto death of walking 20 miles in a DIY store!!

Good luck with your kitchen renewal! I have been thinking of doing mine over, too, and will certainly call Sears in on that. Do they do hardwood floors and cabinets and granite counters, or only the appliances? If not, where are you having those things done? Sorry, but what is FNC?

I try to give Sears my business whenever I can, especially for tools. However, they did botch my emergency water heater install. The guy they used never contacted me after I, and the store, left numerous messages. The store gave us this big hassle when we canceled the sale. We ended up going with HD and the water heater was replaced the next day.
