The Pastor and his wife did prevent any chance for nearby children to witness sin though.

Not at all, the pastor and his wife engaged in sin right in front of those kids. I'm believe homosexuality is a sin, and that it is a mental disorder... however this was not this pastor's church, it was a funeral home, and if the family had no problems with this person being there, he had no authority to remove him. If it was his church, fine, he can decide who is and is not welcome, this was not the case.

It was up to his family to decide if he should or should not be allowed to see his uncles body and pay his respects.. not the pastor.
