As someone who has been a member since 1999, I have witnessed this change. I am not alone in this thinking. I suppose I could have included the clueless and unobservant in that list along with those who don’t visit the site very often to be more fair.
We used to get trolls, but would argue the topic and kill them with logic & facts....not a zot. They only got banned for breaking one of the few posting rules.
Now, even well known long term freepers can get banned for daring to support Rudy Guiliani.

That's a lie. There are Guiliani supporters here today. Most of those banned either (a) lied about actual conservatives to promote Rudy or (b) threw themselves on their swords in some half-assed protest.
Don't come here and lie about what was done. Too many here still remember what really happened.
