So something ostensibly provided as entertainment has a hidden motive of shaping the public perception to further a political agenda?

I thought Hollywood has repeatedly said TV didn't have any influence on people, ie violence, smoking. I stopped watching 24 last season and will not watch it this season, either.

Remember Geena Davis was the woman president on “Commander in Chief”? That show was supposed to make us think that Hillary should be president. Unfortunately that show went off the air after only 1 season of low ratings.
