Keys is a loser. He lost to Obama. He lost his last run for President. He said some interesting things, and some dumb things. He is less qualified than any of the 10 running for the GOP nomination, using any conventional measure.

The effort is spearheaded by several individuals at RenewAmerica, a grassroots organization affiliated with Keyes.
Just follow the money..... Why pass up a good opportunity to rake in a few bucks to be spread out amoung the ‘several individuals at RenewAmerica’......

Good to see you Bob and hope all is well with you.
I was young at the time being in my late 50's and vulnerable. I never wanted any money from those folks except reimbursement for the 4,000 miles I traveled in PA setting up regional offices and grass roots contacts. Sure was fun meeting like minded people at the time.
Their finance man was in Texas, used to be a Freeper. Can't remember his screen name. I sent in my mileage reports monthly and still have not received a nickle.
I got a commitment from Keyes himself to pay my mileage when he visited Lancaster for a debate with Dirshawitch (sp?) at a local college. Connie heard that commitment.
Screw me once, shame on me.
Nobody better tell me what a wonderful and ethical Christian this fake is.
Alan Keyes is an egotistical, blow hard, maybe I can play the race card a little more, baiter.

(anybody remember reparations talk?) Yep. Despite being a fine man, a wonderful orator, and one whom I agree with on many subjects, Dr. Keyes lost my support when he proclaimed his support for slavery reparations. There are neither living slaves nor slaveowners, and the former owners were stripped of their assets during Reconstruction, for the most part.
There is no basis to pay any money to anyone, especially money taken from the coffers fed by those whose ancestors had not yet arrived on these shores when slavery met its demise.
