Anybody watching OReily now? OReily says he'll point out and take to task any republicans going to right wing hate sites. Freerepublic was specifically mentioned.
People PRAY extensively for others on this site. There are daily prayers threads, daily devotion threads. Yeah, it’s a hate site alright.....pffftt!!!

I’ve had my moments of frustration and less than polite moments as well. However, I don’t think that is what O’Reilly or Davis is referring to when they speak about left-wing hate or right-wing hate sites.
Anyone who wants to deny that FR has had it’s full share of hateful comments and opinions that are allowed to remain posted is only going to look like a liar when there is so much evidence to support that claim. That’s why I made a comment not too awful long ago that I felt that none of our Republican candidates would choose to associate themselves too closely, if at all, with FR. From a candidates point of view, this site could be toxic to their efforts.

Lanny Clinton Davis’s comments have probably backfired on him, as your membership will skyrocket after him mentioning the site several times... thats how I found this site and i love it!

I occassionally watched O’Reilly and even listened to the rerun of his radio show at night from time to time. No more. O’Reilly is dead to me.
Lanny davis was the one who called FR a “hate site” while attempting to justify Kos. O’reilly did not correct him, which was disgraceful, but typical. I doubt if O knows FR exists, as stupid as he is.

If we would fight the WOT the way we fought WW2, instead of trying to fight the first-ever Politically Correct War, there would a lot less nuclear warheads left in our arsenal and it would be wrapping up right by now. Of course the Middle East would resemble swiss cheese, but we would have dealt with this threat once and for all. Instead we are giving this gathering storm more time to form.

Actually, Bill O’Reilly does not know a lot about various websites. It was only a few months ago that he said he wasn’t a “net kind of guy.” He has balanced dkos out recently by mentioning “nazi/KKK” sites in general. The only individual website he singled out to balance dkos was David Duke.
Very recently, Michelle Malkin, Mary Katherine Hamm, and even Kirsten Powers have been attempting to educate him about the Internet and how important it has become. He is probably clueless about why Lannie Davis would be told to specifically mention FR.

I found it interesting that the woman, whoever she is, Genevieve somebody, who was on with Davis and O'Really, made a point of saying she is no Republican, but rather a conservative from the Heritage Foundation. She neither agreed nor disagreed with them about whether FR is a "hate site." I believe she did say that she thought Republicans running for office would want to keep their distance from right-wing hate sites, but did not specify what those might be.
I had a feeling watching this that there was an undertone to the whole debate that was aimed at dividing the conservatives from the Republican party. Any of us who would be caught posting here are on a par with klansmen and David Duke followers. JMO
