At first I thought the title said “Defies,” which caused me to read it again. Hollywood doesn’t get a dime from me. All I can do is encourage my children not to see this trash.

How does he know it will be fawning?
The other recent fawning Che biopic was Robert Redford's 2004 film, "The Motorcycle Diaries," a twisted tribute to the thug's youthful days.
Not made by Robert Redford.

Redford was the exec. producer on that one - which allowed to take several trips to Cuba to meet with Che’s widow.

Just noticed that. Exec. Producers are virtually honorary. The author of the article should have attributed the film to the Brazillian filmmaker Walter Salles. It would have made more sense. Not to mention the fact that the film wasn’t made by Hollywood in the first place.
