Living close and having been deep into Mexico a number of times makes you wonder why their country is as it is.
They have resources, but are divided by the rich upper class and the poor lower class and the rich and the politicians do nothing to improve the country.
Some of the border towns are doing very well and they do create many beautiful things, not just the tawdry junk most people think of.
Corruption is just a part of every politician down there and now we are seeing it in our country too!
They have allowed the drug dealers to overrun the country now.
