I don’t know why so many people are just waiting in the wings for former Senator/Actor Fred Thompson to announce his candidacy for President. He may look presidential, but for crying out loud, he is an actor, he is trained to ‘look the part’.

I have some information concerning Fred Thompson that you ought to be aware of.

First off, Fred Thompson has hired Spencer Abraham as his campaign manager.

For many of you who don’t remember, Spencer Abraham was a senator from Michigan who was defeated because of a bill he wrote, that passed, which raised the number of H1B visas from 115,000 to 195,000. This ad was used in the campaign to get rid of Mr. Abraham.

Now why would Fred Thompson hire a man of this character to run his campaign if he truly was a conservative and wanted to stand up for the people of this country, not the illegal aliens and the corporate interests that need them

Maybe some of Fred Thompsons voting history from when he held office might explain this.

Thompson’s voting record on H-1B speaks for itself. Americans for Better Immigration gave him a grade of F. Here are just a few reasons Thompson
earned a failing grade:

1998: Voted for S.1723, nearly doubling hi-tech visas

1998: Voted against protecting American workers by putting safeguards into the H-1B law.

1998: S.1723, Voted to allow American workers to be fired and replaced with a foreign worker.

1996: Voted in committee for the Abraham amendment to S.1664. The Abraham amendment to S.1664 stripped all legal reforms from the bill. This vote
shows how closely tied Thompson and Abraham are.

2000: Voted for S.2045, a foreign worker bill with no worker protections. Sen. Thompson voted for the Abraham foreign worker bill to nearly triple
the number of foreign high-tech workers. This is another crucial piece of evidence to their close ties.

The media is playing up to Thompson like he is the outsider who will save the GOP. The people are drooling all over him like he is some sort of a modern day Ronald Reagan.

For cryin out loud people, wake up and do some research on your own and find out the facts about the candidates before you buy into the propaganda being spewed out at you on your televisions! Fred Thompson is just the same mess on a different day, that we have had offered to us for years, a phony conservative, beholden to corporate interests who could give a rats hind end about the welfare of the American people.

His burgeoning supporters from across the political spectrum say otherwise.

Of course they do, and they are certainly entitled to their opinion.

I suspect the 40 votes Paul drew represents most of his supporters in the state.

...so who were the OTHER 1200 people at the Paul rallies in Greenville/Spartanburg last week? ALL from 'out of state'; I'm sure...

"..the bildbergers, trilateralls, illuminists, skull and bones, NWO, rockfellers, and space aliens,"

By grouping as you have done, you are demonstrating your bias against learning fact.

bildbergers; real

trilateralls; real

illuminati; real but past history

skull and bones; real

NWO; real

rockfellers; real

and space aliens; not real

mnehrling; close-minded

Who would you suggest as an alternative to Fred?

Didn’t deny they were real, I am pointing out that throughout the history of this country, there have been conspiracies promoted that all said the same thing- a group of ‘globalists’ have a plan to dissolve US sovereignty and place them under the control of a centralized small group.. this conspiracy even extends far before the creation of the US..

Close minded- heck no.. I challenge any assumption- I don’t believe everything I read just because someone says it is fact. I am a reformed John Bircher who grew up and realized it was all BS after looking deeper into their claims. Close minded is believing the story without investigating first.

"..a plan to dissolve US sovereignty.."

Well, let's hope it never happens.

It has never happened before with the dozens (if not hundreds) of conspiracies where people claimed to ‘know for a fact it would happen’.. what happened to all of those conspiracies.. when they were debunked or shown to mean nothing, they faded away and the people who profit in spreading conspiracy simply changed the players and got newer generations fearful of a new group...

Does Homeland Security know that supporters of paleoPaulie and of Al Qaeda are converging on an innocent South Carolina town, one sawbuck, one vote, bent on blaming America first, last and always. As Spiro Agnew once accurately said of an earlier antiAmerican Americong: “nattering nabobs of negativism seeking to spread a spirit of masochism throughout the land.”

It’s a REAL poll???? When all that was needed was an adequate supply of antiwar AntiAmerican al Qaeda apologist types, one school bus from Berserkely or its equivalent and 40 sawbucks to finish second????? Puhleeeze!!!!

So, as a paleoPaulie satrap, you like Demonrats (French vanilla) better than Republicans (vanilla). Is that because of the French connection or just that the Demonrats are more slavering cut and run artists?

Who would you suggest as an alternative to Fred? Try someone who isn't a CFR member. Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter are about the only choices. All the rest are in bed with the CFR which is the leading force behind the North American Union and our open borders (despite all the draconian laws passed to keep an eye on American citizens in the name of 'keeping us safe from terrorists'. NEVER vote for anyone who is a CFR or Trilateral Commission member. As a friend of mine says, no matter their party affiliation, they are two heads of the same snake.

When Clinton was President conspiracies were standard fare here, remember? Whitewater...Mena...Vince Foster...Ron Brown Chinese dirty money ect. ect. ect.

Now any conservative who suggests the possibility of a government conspiracy is looney...?

I never saw you debunk CFR conspiracy threads which have posted at this forum many times over the years...Perhaps I missed your ridicule of posters to the Whitewater threads and the Vince Foster Ron Brown threads.

You are a simple minded man by any account.

You can’t even remember the history of the forum that you are using to spew your garbage.
