Have at it. I predict that the Hunterites, Mittheads, McCainiacs and followers of the other minor players will get behind Fred when the time comes; whereas the Rooty-tooties and Paulestinians will vote democrat or 3rd party.

As a "Rooty-Tootie" myself, I have to say that I pledge if Fred Thompson becomes our nominee I swear to donate $100.00 on the first day of the general campaign. I will also try and be the first one at our county headquarters volunteering for the campaign, and asking for the yard signs and bumper stickers. I also make this pledge to any other candidate that comes out on top.

I have nothing personal against Fred, in fact in April - June I would have thought that he would be my #1, yet unfortunately up until now he has done nothing to impress me. These are my own personal opinions, not up for debate, but I will tell you that although there are a lot of things I disagree with Rudy on, he still is the only one in the race that screams "leadership" to me, and that is what I am looking for. I really hoped Fred would change my mind (it would have made political discussions with my husband much easier LOL), he just hasn't done it. I just don't get the impression that he wants the Presidency as much as his supporters want him to have it. Things may still change for me, but I am growing more and more cynical every day. I am becoming more and more impressed with Rudys stance on facing the terrorists, and less and less sure of Freds stance on anything.

Now that I have pledge my support, and money to Fred (keep this thread and ping me in March if you wish), will you do the same?
