Amazing, I thought Fred was too late and there wasn’t anyone available to work on his campaign.

C’mon, these guys are just there for show, since everyone knows that Jeri Thompson is running the campaign... /sarcasm

Wow!

He needs all those people to tell him what to say, how to say it,and to explain the issues to him?

What a list!

Yeah, why not have 3 staffers like Ron Paul in a 525 square foot campaign HQ?

You realize that almost 100% of the people whose candidates are at 2-4% will have issues with this information. Thompson is doomed.

I mean are that committed...

“This is a Gnat Free Zone.”

Now that the fundraiser is over with is this going to be new and improved not-a-purge/bugzapper thread? ;)

That’s Jim’s department. Why don’t you ask him?

You know the drill...

If they’ve been in national politics less than three years, they are lightweights and “who’s he?”

If they have been in politics 4-7 years, they are Bushbots.

If they have been in politics 7-11 years, they are Dole clones and spineless.

If they have been in politics 12 years of more, they are from Bush 1, Dole, AND Bushbots.

If they were around for Reagan, they are clearly too old.

And if they ever held office they are either (anti business) protectionists or (pro business) globalists.

I bet none of them ever built a foot of fence on the Mexican border, either.

/major sarcasm

Pretty rude way to treat the owner of this board. If you have a beef with him, why don’t you go to him instead of making nasty comments about him behind his back.

What are you talking about? I didn't mention JR in the comment I posted to you (#12). You're the one that brought his name up. I merely responded by basically agreeing with you when you said that that was "Jim's department". You're the one that is implying that the purge/bugzapper thread was JR's department. I didn't know that for sure, but I'm certainly not going to argue with you about it. You're accusing me of making "nasty comments" behind his back and I have not done that here and I find it pretty rude for you to imply that I have.

Have at it. I predict that the Hunterites, Mittheads, McCainiacs and followers of the other minor players will get behind Fred when the time comes; whereas the Rooty-tooties and Paulestinians will vote democrat or 3rd party.

As a "Rooty-Tootie" myself, I have to say that I pledge if Fred Thompson becomes our nominee I swear to donate $100.00 on the first day of the general campaign. I will also try and be the first one at our county headquarters volunteering for the campaign, and asking for the yard signs and bumper stickers. I also make this pledge to any other candidate that comes out on top.

I have nothing personal against Fred, in fact in April - June I would have thought that he would be my #1, yet unfortunately up until now he has done nothing to impress me. These are my own personal opinions, not up for debate, but I will tell you that although there are a lot of things I disagree with Rudy on, he still is the only one in the race that screams "leadership" to me, and that is what I am looking for. I really hoped Fred would change my mind (it would have made political discussions with my husband much easier LOL), he just hasn't done it. I just don't get the impression that he wants the Presidency as much as his supporters want him to have it. Things may still change for me, but I am growing more and more cynical every day. I am becoming more and more impressed with Rudys stance on facing the terrorists, and less and less sure of Freds stance on anything.

Now that I have pledge my support, and money to Fred (keep this thread and ping me in March if you wish), will you do the same?
