There was a large box truck behind me with huge Tom Tancredo banners. 2 guys were handing out Tom Tancredo literature. Nobody was handing out info for any other candidate.
There were people in cars with small signs on one car for Rudy, one float car with a McCain bumper sticker.
There were 2 each high school aged kids (looked like anyway) carrying a few dem signs for different candidates.
Tancredoby far had the largest showing.
There was nobody there for Hunter.
In fact I got into a discussion with a group of Repubs about Tancredo and mentioned he and Hunter were the only Repubs I could vote for, they asked, "who's Hunter"?
Tancredo is great. The reason I’m supporting Hunter is (like Tancredo) he’s got the borders/immigration stance having authored the bill signed into law by the president in October 2006. Also like Tancredo, he’s rock solid on life/family issues. He’s also strong on WOT, being a military man with combat experience (173rd Airborne, Vietnam). He’s also the only candidate in either party who recognizes the China threat. Both men are quality human beings, and either would make a fine CIC; Hunter is just the more well-rounded of the two.

Drove by there myself, around 10:30 today. Did not notice the Tanceredo stickers, but glad to hear he has some support here.
Hunter is my guy, but I really like Tom also!
Nothing against Tancredo, as I like him, but Hunter has actually been more EFFECTIVE on borders than Tancredo, because Hunter had the San Diego fence built, and HUNTER wrote the bill to build 854 miles of fence, which was signed into law.
Plus, Hunter is strong on many other issues besides borders.

There is only one reason that Gitmo is still open- his name is Duncan Hunter. There is a primary reason that BP agents Ramos and Compean cases have kept a high profile - Duncan Hunter. There is only one reason we have enough miltary transport hauling capability- Duncan Hunter. There is only one guy who went after CNN to get them tossed out of Iraq for airing enemy propaganda - Duncan Hunter. There was only one reason that Rumsfeld was not able to proceed on reductions in the size of the Army - Duncan Hunter. There is only one reason that Bush finally agreed to INCREASE the size of the Army and Marine Corps - Duncan Hunter.
