It’s a shame rules have to made to govern the dress of WH visitors but if people can’t dress appropriately when visiting this national treasure then I support those rules.

When I'm in another city on vacation, particularly in warm weather, I'm in my standard uniform: t-shirt, shorts, and a cap since, well, I'm hair challenged (somewhat due to my own choice). This includes D.C. and would include a trip to the White House. There's nothing inappropriate about wearing shorts and t-shirts in the WH while on vacation. If you work there, obviously, that's a much different issue. This is absurd.
