We stayed 20 miles out of D.C. We had 4 children and 4 adults.
Where were we supposed to change? Were we supposed to carry bags of clothes on the sightseeing bus all day?
I find that a lightweight pair of pants with stretch with a simple strect t-shirt is far more comfortable than jeans. It’s not that difficult to find something appropriate that’s comfortable.
I can't understand why people are so bent out of shape over this. If there is a dress code you just follow it. We were wearing capris, sandals and knit tops (not T's) and we would have been fine. That is the way I dress when I travel all the time. Big Deal!!
I am glad Bush is setting a high standard.
