WASHINGTON Leading a bipartisan delegation of 10 colleagues to Greenland, Sen. Barbara Boxer said today she saw first-hand the effects of global warming and received a plea from the country's officials to do something to change it.
"I think everyone who has seen this is changed,'' Boxer, D-Calif., said in a telephone interview from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. "Imagine flying in a helicopter and seeing this massive glacier that's five miles wide and 500 miles long...following it as it's crashing into the sea.'' The glacier they flew over is the fastest moving one in the world, she said.
Boxer said she decided to organize this weekend trip to Greenland so she and other senators could better understand the information they have received from sources such as scientists, reports and former Vice President Al Gore's movie.

Yes Barbara get out in front of that glacier and demand that it stop.
On a more serious note why on Earth would the officials of Greenland want global warming to stop?
With their growing season lengthening and the amount of arable land increasing why would they want it to stop?
Or are they just pandering for more international aid?

Now, come on, you know the Goreacle demands no possible benefits of the earth warming a degree or two be mentioned in public! To the Re-Education Camp for you!

    She had to fly there?
Couldn’t she just watch a DVD?
I could show her Global warming let my 3 Yellow labs all pant on her on a warm day while having hot flashes.

Babs, the inevitable “Big One” will wipe out the Bay area long before “climate change” occurs. And Big Government, the god all liberals worship, won’t be able to do a thing to prevent either.

This may make Babs pass Patty bin Murray for the title of dumbest Senator.

Watching glaciers move in the ocean must be as exciting as watching grass grow.

It would have been nice if the OC Register allowed someone with some credentials to point out that the Honorable Senator is full of horse-hockey.

These "global warming" press articles are getting wackier by the day. Somebody must be putting LSD in the media's water coolers--there is no other reasonable explanation for their irrational interminable propaganda wave on this subject.

Yep, that's it then. Forget the GENERATIONS of true scientific research. Let's all go watch ALGoring's movie and take a weekend jaunt to Greenland in the summer.
Why, I bet she even took some pictures with her iPhone!

Imagine a world where massive glaciers covered most of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin and imagine the horrors if that glacier disappeared. I mean something like that has never happened before until SUVs.
