Very few people deserve the bad things that happen to them. Not so few help those bad things happen to themselves. That doesn't mean they deserve it but they did facilitate it. The old "Lie down with dogs" adage. Like the old Indian said "Natural Born Killers":
Once upon a time, a woman was picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying, she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the snake answered, "Look, b***h, you knew I was a snake."

Reminds me of a story.....
A scorpion comes to a frog and asks him, “Dear frog, can you please ford me over yonder river? I must reach the other side.” The frog was shocked, “What? As soon as I reach the middle of the river you would sting me and I would die!” The scorpion scoffed and answered, “My dear frog, how foolish can you be? If I sting you we both die.” So the frog agreed, he swam, but when he reached the middle of the river the scorpion stung him, with his last breath the frog said, “What have you done? We shall both die.” The scorpion answered, “My dear frog, you forget.....this is the middle east....”
again, unless you have lived Domestic Violence and Abuse, you may not understand the things you are choosing to judge so easily from outside of it.
