The usually race when its close. How close is it? Im not sure if they have bonuses for TTs or not... My figures were for the time only. Don't know either if they have bonuses or not....the total times still not up on the web page.

That would be sweet. I know they do have time bonuses tomorrow, tho’ the leTour site is having fits and won’t show the profile so I don’t know how many intermediate sprints etc there are. Could come down to the bonuses rather than the finish!

Closest finish in Tour history!

Now up on Tour web page: Contador 23 “ in front of Evans, 31 “ in front of Leipheimer.
If they decide to race, the time bonuses along the course could make it really tricky for the stables and the riders. Should Disco for instance hold back their sprinters (who are??) then Evans may sneak in and take the yellow. Or should the teams go hell for leather and try to peel off the others..... very tricky and interesting if they go for it. If on the other hand the stage tomorrow will be a champagne glass in hand ride into Paris, then this Tour will only be remembered for the doping (and non-doping) cases.

Today Levi ranked 4th in history for fastest time trial. Good for him.

Levi is not going to challenge tomorrow. Why do you say that? Maybe not for 1st, but I'm sure he'd like #2.
To: leilani
Thanks Leilani. 2 intermediate sprints and the finish bonuses to consider.
To: green iguana
Levi said he would not challenge Cadel, specifically.

Can’t believe the route has them riding by those fools at Chatanay-Malabry tomorrow! Even though it might take secs out of their time, I hope all the riders give them the ‘cyclists’ salute’ when they pass.

They asked him and with a smile and without hesitation he said Contador had won and he wouldn’t go after any of the bonuses tomorrow.

Closest finish in Tour history! You mean for the top 3 going into the final day? Didn't whiney boy (LeMond) win by 8 sec in '79?

Not sure, that’s what the commentator said. Must be the top three.
