This kind of thing almost scares me more than the 9-11 attacks.

It should. More Jihadie attacks just means we have shoot more Jihadies, lots more. More of this stuff and we might have to start shooting judges and legislators. That could get ugly, really fast.

Laws, or regulations of a state university, such as this are clear violations of the fist amendment.

Buy an American flag and burn it. You've PO'd a bunch of people, including me, but you haven't committed a crime. Same with buying and burning a Koran, or a Bible or even a reproduction of the Constitution itself. Burn someone else's flag, Koran, Bible or Constitution, and you are guilty of destruction of property and arson. But not a hate crime.

Not the book. Baning the book would be in violation of two parts of the first amendment. Banning and otherwise disposing of the people who try to carry out the "mandate" of the book, that's another matter entirely. Even if by "trying" they only provide aid and comfort to those attempting to carry out that mandate, or planing to do so.

Ah here it is:

Article III, Section. 3. Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

U.S. Code, TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 115 > § 2381

§ 2381. Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

In this case, I'd go with death.
