Oh wow man.
Hyperbole and distorted facts make people not believe you when you actually tell the truth.
This will surely annoy the “I’m a libertarian mostly because I like to get stoned” brigade.
Cannabis better get himself a really good lawyer.
What about us who are in the “Im a libertarian mostly because I hate government telling me what to do brigade?
What about us republicans who like to get stoned?
Wow, England must have a big pharmaceutical sector just like the US.
Sorry, I don't believe this for a minute.
;-)
Tells me all I need to know.
“pot/schizophrenia”
I can believe it!/Now that’s pure BS
Even if the study is correct, that increases the risk of getting schizophrenia from 1% to 1.4%, but I fail to see how any study can be so bold as to claim this amount of increased risk from smoking one joint.
The Daily Mail has been on a crusade against cannabis for years. I suspect some bias has crept in to their reporting.
I’m not a fan of the drug culture, but this doesn’t pass the, er, sniff test, to me.
I’ve been smoking the stuff all my live and have never had a psychotic episode... and neither have I. :)
“I’m plumb crazy and I’m gonna level this place”
It is probably true. Cannabis probably has a deleterious effect on normal brain function in people who are already genetically inclined toward mental illness, but who are not necessarily going to develop such illness during the course of a normal, chemical free lifestyle.
I wouldn’t be surprised if alcohol abuse can also contribute to causing a predisposition for mental illness to manifest as well. Or any mind altering drug, for that matter.
The real solution is in identifying persons at risk, and then informing them so that they can take better care of themselves, if they so choose.
40% = 655K reefer schizophrenics.
I AM NOT WADING INTO THE SWAMP OF DESCRIMINALIZATION ON THIS, BUT....
...Pot is not the same pot it was ten years ago. The compounds that make up the active ingredients have been seriously altered through selective growing practices.
Cannabis better get himself a really good lawyer.
my advice, the oj team.
btw, lol at your comment.
