Who were the invaders?
How's it feel sheeple?
But, but, at least one MSM morning show told me to buy some cactus plants and place them by the window!
An armed society is a polite society.
90 days for a pistol permit? Even California is better than this.
Maybe some of these liberals buying guns will reconsider their support for waiting periods (like what happened in CA during the '92 Rodney King riots). When the stuff hit the fan there, people (liberals) were incensed about not being able to immediately acquire self-defense firearms.
All the conservatives already had theirs. :^)
Actually, they went to shop.
In Conneticut, you can't really buy the gun until a bureaucrat approves your purchase, well after the impulse to buy has blown over.
Fortunately, the CT state legislature will be loaning their protection details to concerned citizens to cover the waiting period. /s/
C'mon, that's what the POLICE are for. Just dial 911.
Interesting that it takes a crime of this magnitude for people to notice the 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting.
(sarcasm on)
In response to the statement 9-1-1 takes to long, Connecticut’s elected officials passed a “you must wait, time out” law.
This law requires all home invaders to wait for the police to arrive following the home owners declaration that they have called 9-1-1. Home invaders who fail to wait will be guilty of a second degree misdemenor.
State Representatve Stuckee Onstupid said, “this eliminates the excuse that 911 takes too long to respond. Criminals will now be obligated to wait for the police once 911 is alerted.”
(sarcasm off)
Something about liberals getting mugged comes to mind here...
Actually, it's not as bad as that. I got mine in about 2-3 weeks, IIRC. Granted, it's still longer than it ever should be, but I think 90 days is the maximum amount of time that the state has to approve the locally approved permit.
As a Connecticut residence, I half believed this post
While visiting my doctor the other day he told me he wanted to get a gun and he said when he got that gun it would be unloaded, put in a locked box on a top shelf in his closet to placate his wife. I then asked him what he would do when a male my size (larger than he) came in the front door and grabbed him by his neck. He said he hadn’t thought that one out. Scary.
Here are the perps...scroll down for their pictures. http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?S=6842222&nav=menu29_2
He still deserves some credit, though. As well as you should, for pointing-out what we know to be obvious.
The only surprise I find in this article is that you can still buy guns in CT.....
I love their motto. "Guns for the good guys"
