with adequately trained pilots, 250 Su-30MKs could be a headache. Not going to prevent us from eventually obtaining air superiority, but those are good airframes, better than the stuff Mig puts out there
This improved version of the SU-30 was one of the main reasons why the Air Force pushed for the F-22. With a well trained pilot it could be a tough adversary for an F-15. It is no match at all for an F-22.
Fortunately we have the best trained pilots in the world and lots of them. Iran and Syria have very few pilots that could hack it in the USAF or USN. If they get these aircraft before hostilities break out they will be little more than manned target drones.
The next round of air attacks against a hostile nation will be the debut for the F-22 and the pilots that will be up against it will be killed before they even know they are in danger.
