Uh, yeah... Three bullet holes anywhere in the forehead are by definition in close proximity to one another and are very suspicious. Jeez, it sure looks like the poor guy was fragged. Thank God they weren't able to sweep it under the rug.

Neighbor of mine had 6 bullet holes in close proximity across his lower abdomen. They were put there by an AK in the Nam. I don't think any of them were further apart than about an inch and a half. Impressive scar I'll tell you.

Several rounds hitting the same target in close proximity more likely indicates nothing more than the auto-select was on auto.

Would three rounds from an M16 at relatively close range leave three separate holes? I know they aren’t hollow points, but holy smokes there a lot of power there....through a helmet or not? This is one of the saddest stories..........
