There were dozens of active investigator/Freepers who were doing undercover work, behind the scenes, keeping this story alive. Even Dan Abrams at MSNBC did more that Savage. He took it personally as a Duke alumnus and continued to cover it and investigate, when all the other networks ignored it.

I never heard of this writer before, so I don’t know what his motivation was for penning this article.
Anyone who worked to get Nifong busted for his dirty shenanigans deserves credit.
And had it not been for those people who knows what might have happened. The constant exposure & pressure keeping this story & the evidence (or lack of it) up front & center helped these boys tremendously. The MSM whipped itself into a frenzy embellishing the facts & inventing evidence. “Rape jackets” & condoms, anyone?
