It is a national story in the sense that it shows that there's a need to highlight the fact that the justice system needs to keep murderous scum locked up, for longer periods of time, in order to prevent innocent lives from being taken.

Savage or Teddy could be offed if Savage presses the issue. Afterall who really killed the Kennedys MLK?

I imagine the powers that be could get away with killing anybody they want to, even our current President if he were to persist on stepping on the wrong toes.
