I hope the research helps you.

But my larger point is this -— there are hundreds, if not thousands, of ethically-sensitive researchers who are pursuing adult stem cells and legitimate therapies to help thoe who are afflicated with disease.

They are making great strides even as we speak. Why then are they debating in Congress tax payer funding for the vain hope of a controversial Embryonic Stem cell research which require the destruction of human embryos, when they have nothing but scandals and empty promises to show for it?

The truth is ES research is not even illegal. Any venture capitalist or rich man like Warren Buffet or Bill Gates can fund it privately if they believe that it holds such great promise. However, I don’t see this happening in the private venture capital world... why is that ? Could it be that ES research is not what it is all made out to be ?

It is uncanny how they keep pushing their unethical research down the throats of people who think it is wrong to kill one life to save another. Nobody is even stopping them; they are free to pursue it, if they wish – provided they get their own money. Instead, they expect the taxpaying public, morally opposed or not, to pay for it. Why? Because real investors know how to read the tea leaves, and notice that funding ES research is a bad investment, with a “vanishingly small” hope of success.

Yet, here we have REAL WORLD evidence of success using ADULT STEM CELLS and we hardly hear a peep out of these very same people. Michael J. Fox should be ecstatic about hearing the results of the Parkinson study above, yet, all I’m getting from him is the same old we should fund ES Research speech. Somebody ought to point him to the successes they are experienceing with Parkinson’s disease using ADULT STEM CELLS. It would be refreshing to hear him lobby for more funding for this.
