Bush/Rice see giving up Jerusalem as well as a swath of land connecting Gaza with Judea-Samaria so Muslim Palestine will be ‘contiguous’.
And enlightened Israelis will see the pointlessness of trying to defend an isolated, sparsely-populated Negev.

Bush/Rice see giving up Jerusalem as well as a swath of land connecting Gaza with Judea-Samaria so Muslim Palestine will be ‘contiguous’. Yes, fair to say they want a smaller Israel than in 1949. And that palestinian corridor means Israel will no longer be contiguous, but no matter.
