Not every blog is worthy. But if our mission has changed from exposing the libmedia bias to replacing the libmedia with New Media (Rush, Levin, Ingraham, the blogosphere), then folks need to get over their condescension towards blogs.

I wondered why this was not in breaking news all day here on FR. I guess that explains it.

TomB put in Breaking when he first posted it. That’s where I found it. Then it disappeared. Go figure....

I wondered why this was not in breaking news all day here on FR. I guess that explains it.

As soon as I read TNR's statement this morning I posted it over here. I thought twice about putting it in "breaking news" knowing the feelings some here have for blogs. And considering this is mainly a blog-driven story, I figured it wouldn't last long there. Anyway, I did post it in BN, and by the time I got back to the computer later in the morning, it was gone.

As I said earlier, its a shame because if this wasn't the first place where the story broke, it was definitely one of the first.

As GWB observed, some people here have a real "thing" about blogs, but I see hardly and overlap between FR and blogs. The antagonism just doesn't make sense.
