Thank you for expressing such reasoned intelligence on the subject.
How about just taking them to the Virginia/NC border and dropping them off. Do not allow them to contact their families or anything. When Pedro does not come home at night, the family will pack up and leave.

I like your idea, but the feds won’t go along with it. Heck they don’t go along with the current immigration laws, why would they do something like that?
Huh?
Get rid of the vermin. It’s your state and this is not a border issue.
The wife will get citizen ship, but she has to go through the process, but we were talking about the status of children born during the process.
He mows their lawns, paints their houses and generally behaves in a servile manner. Kicking him out would mean people losing their "cheap" labor.
(Not that I'm cynical,or anything.)
How ‘bout an RFID chip in their butt? If you come back in, you get “conscripted” for two years (doubled for each subsequent offense 4 years, then 8 years, then 16...) to work on the Southern Wall. Uncle Sam will provide room and board, medical care and pay you $2 a day...
What? Would you prefer I type in Spanish?
When you accept the breaking of the law then society suffers then declines.
Thank you for expressing such reasoned intelligence on the subject.
So it's okay to do something illegal as long as you're a nice guy? Sorry, but I don't buy that, reasoned intelligence or not. If you break the law, you are subject to penalties. The issue boils down to what those penalties should be. For me, it's deportation and let them try to enter legally. For others, it's to turn a blind eye to breaking the law. If you agree with that stance, where do you draw the line? You're forced into a corner where you must accept "sorta illegal" behavior. I fail to see why we should compromise.
We agree.

I've posted it here at FR before on similar threads.. Although the story is a few years old, there is still a big problem along that highway. I commute frequently to Salisbury and Easton, Md. from the Tidewater area. There is STILL an abundance of Tennessee license plates, particularly at this time of year.
You obviously have knocked yourself senseless with your knee jerk reactions. Reading comprehension isn’t your strong point.
Why do that? I will point out that NO citizen whether they are eitght months old, or eighty years old)is entitled to have their non-citizen family in the US.
If the illegals want custody of their child, they can file paperwork through their government back home rescinding their minor offspring's US citizenship. If not, there are plenty of couples here who want children to adopt.
The "anchor baby" issue isn't a problem of bad law any more that employers hiring illegals is a problem of bad law. Both are problems of the Federal government refusing to enforce existing law.
Perhaps if you didn't really mean what you wrote in #41 you should use a 'sarcasm' tag.
My position has ALWAYS been to throw out the felonious illegals but to allow the non-troublemakers to stay by giving them worker permits, tax ID#s and a path to eventual citizenship.
I was giving you kudos in #41 and for that I get "GFY..."
Sorry to have disturbed you while you were having an episode.
Cheers!
That was my post and I was pointing out people’s attitudes on the subject of illegals. Many are in favor of getting rid of the criminals/gang bangers but they will stop at the guy who isn’t making trouble since, “he isn’t hurting anyone”. Their attitudes about this are a serious issue since they are extending permissions that form the root of the problem.
The GOP sure taught Republican voters a lesson--they engineered some of our defeats in 06 to give Bush a "congress he could work with"-- Nothing like betraying America for Love of Vicente.
