If you do happen to find one [a US-made American flag], odds are the materials to make it were likely imported.

One way to get an idea of the odds would be to take the total of textile (not apparel) imports and compare them to total domestic textile production. I suspect the odds wouldn't be as "good" as you believe.

I don't know, an awful lot of nylon products are made by American companies in China. Dupont is a major one.
