Macy's department store is no longer selling a T-shirt that might offend some members of the Hispanic community.
According to Macy's, one of its goals is to provide an exclusive line of clothing geared toward Latina shoppers looking to express cultural identity through fashion.
However, one such item might have actually offended potential Hispanic customers, so the company pulled it during the weekend.
The T-shirt, which reads

You obviously don’t buy a lot of “designer” T-shirts. Check out Bloomingdale’s {owned by Macy’s} website for a real eye-opener.
For some strange reason corporations are rarely concerned about offending us. If the main stream doesn't report it than they are not going to be concerned about it too much. The main stream media has the real power here. They dictate what is and is not OK and corporations listen.
That was my first thought when I saw the tee shirt.
Boycott Macy’s.
Let’s start with declaring the category Hispanic offensive. American is just fine for everyone.
I have not, but I did notice lots of bottle-blond Chinese “girls” when I was going to China in recent past (business travel, nothing good).
Eat weird stuff; being of Jewish extraction turned out to be very useful, in that I could refuse to eat lots of stuff and they would buy it.
And do you notice you can see her panties and the indication of her private parts?

If this is offensive to Hispanics why isn’t it offensive to Indians, Pakistanis, Samoans, Bangladeshis, Moroccans...?

I think this shirt is very offensive to Whites, actually.
What I notice is the schoolgirl uniform. Japanese love little schoolgirls in uniform.
Are you offended? I’m not. I’m white and proud of it. I don’t care what anyone else thinks of me.
