When Annie Jacobs came forward and reported terrorist activity, they dismissed her as a bigoted, islamophobic hysteric. She’s a journalist, and having her name sullied in such a way isn’t much better than being sued. It turned out that DHS’s own documents corroborated her story, but they have yet to apologize to her or explain their cover-up of the facts.
