It is of some small satisfaction to me that if I eat right, excersize and take care of myself, I may live just long enough to see the last Baby Boomer die.

"The leading alternative, Barack Obama, has presented himself from his first moment on the national stage, at the 2004 Democratic convention, as a man who wants to move us beyond the boomer civil war by emphasizing what we all have in common."
A Muslim caliphate brought to us by B. Hussein Obama. Only slightly worse than a Marxist one imposed on us by PIAPS.

I usually like Barone but this one just didn’t hang together for me. I’m not sure what point he’s trying to make. Are Boomers the only generation in history with disagreements? Certainly not. It’s just that Boomers are in charge now. In a few years the next generation will take over and they’ll have lots of rifts too. Some will be the same old rifts about the relationship between the individual and the State. Other rifts will be new and unique to the challenges faced by the next generation (like how the heck to pay Social Security for all those Boomers). Big deal, so what. Maybe Barone is just running out of things to write about.

How long have you desired to see most Americans die, Habib? Habib isn't willing to wait to see them die of old age.

How long have you desired to see most Americans die? Oh, my. You are a stubborn one, aren't you?
If you did not mischaracterize my original quote by selectively editing it, you would have answered you own question.
Do you desire a long life? If you achieve that, you too will see most Americans living today die.

you too will see most Americans living today die True. However; unlike you, I'm not already salivating about the "satisfaction" of their deaths.
Wait..wait..let me double-check. Yes; "satisfaction" is the word you used regarding the deaths of you compatriots.

True. However; unlike you, I'm not already salivating about the "satisfaction" of their deaths. Actually, I characterized the satisfaction as small, so "salivating" is not a term I would use.
You seem quite determined to take offense, so don't let me stop you.

The founder of this site, Jim Robinson, is a baby boomer and a veteran. Pity that you will get satisfaction at any level to see him die.
