Still looking at Tancredo, maybe Hunter or Huckabee

Obviously, you know who I like. Hunter is also a good candidate. I'd check with the Arkansas Freepers before you support Huckabee, though. He's got a good talk, but they say his game doesn't look anything like his campaign promises - specifically on illegal immigrants and taxes.

Tom’s words to the caller (partial quote) “What I do is more important than who gives me money”

I agree with him. Tancredo doesn't have the luxury of tossing back campaign donations on principle. He doesn't have RudyMcRomney's money or donations, and he needs what he can get.

He's got as good or better voting record on abortion as any of the candidates, so there's no question there.

As I said, if Hillary or Gore or Michael Moore decided to toss some money into Tancredo's campaign, it wouldn't matter a bit to me ... he's proved over and over again that he is his own man and his vote will not be bought.

This whole issue, IMO, says more about Brownback than it does Tancredo.

What is it, $2,000 maybe?

Tancredo can't afford to stand on principle over 2 measley freakin thousand dollars?

At least you're finally admitting that he compromised his principles in this case.
