I don’t know MEG. But yeah, I suppose those girls should have defended themselves but....hey, recall these boys put on this show while in school. It seems they did this sort of thing during class change.
I don’t know what the girls did about it but I’m just not convinced an adolescent girl would be brave enough to kick a boy in the gonads doing that to her. The action of a guy in front of her “dry humping” her and a guy in back “dry humping” her at the same time can be very intimidating, don’t you think?
Yes, MEG, I knew intuitively you were a female. Your response wasn’t boorish and mean like many male response on this thread. Your response made entirely too much sense to be a boorish male response. Not ALL the males on this thread, I hasten to add. My experience is that most males on FreeRepublic are fairly nice. A few on this thread are forty plus going on ten.
Those boys’ original contention, or that published by their defense attorneys, was that they’d only been giving those girls a mild swat on the butt. Now it seems that those boys have been terrorizing these girls for quite a while, the whole time hooting it up and high-fiving for the free feels and fun they’re having.
The girls evidently went to the school authorities about it, because why else would a cop already be on site, as was indicated in the article? I’m willing to bet they have these boys’ actions on very clear videotape which is the only reason they ADMITTED to what they did. Hey, they’ve got defense attorneys that fooled many of the posters on THIS thread, go to hell. No way they’d admit to doing the stuff accused of unless there’s a tape somewhere showing it very clear.

I’m more concerned about decent conservative men, first thing they attack ME for daring to suggest that even uninvited pats on the butt should not be allowed, but the whole thing ended up so much worse. You won’t see any of the men who called me names and worse admitting the error of their ways. Not that I expect them to.
Just so you know the whole story. Talk to me.....this really wasn’t a place where a kick in the toolbox was the proper action. Although hey, I’d tell my daughter to give one in a minute should she feel it would help in her defense.
Yes, it would be for some, depending on personality type. I've always been more the sort to get really ticked off and react from that, but of course, not everyone is that way.

True, if one is not of a personality type to kick 'em in the tool box, going to the authorities is the best option. No one should have to put up with this kind of crap.
